Our environment gives children what childhood increasingly lacks: space, freedom, nature and time. Children spend extensive time outdoors throughout the year, running, climbing, digging, building, creating and becoming completely absorbed in imaginative play.
Nature is not an occasional addition to our curriculum; it is where much of our curriculum lives, supporting physical confidence, curiosity, wellbeing and a close, everyday connection with the natural world.
Children encounter natural materials, loose parts, real tools and meaningful experiences that invite them to investigate, solve problems and turn their ideas into action. They grow plants, care for living things, build, make and contribute to their community. Alongside the freedom and energy of outdoor life, warm indoor spaces provide opportunities for stories, creativity, reflection and quieter moments. Together, these create an environment where children can make decisions, take manageable risks and discover just how capable they are.
