At Liberty Woodland School, we believe that access to a transformative education should not be limited by financial constraints, which is why we are proud to offer bursaries.
Bursary awards are designed to support families who share our vision of learning but may need financial assistance. We encourage those interested in applying for any available places to submit their applications before January 15th, 2026. For a September 2026 start date there are two partial bursaries available for a reception start and two year 7 partial bursaries available.
Application Process
Qualifying Criteria for a bursary place
If you are unsure whether you are likely to be successful in securing a bursary for your child, please do review the criteria below:
- Both parents (in a two-parent household) should usually be working full-time
- The household income should not normally exceed £60,000 per annum for a full bursary. For a partial bursary, awards will be made on a sliding scale based upon household income.
,A full application should be submitted by the 15th January 2025, for places starting Sept 2026. Should you be interested in a bursary after this date, please email your interest to office@libertywoodlandschool.com and we will register your interest and keep you updated should any further donations make further bursary places available.
Assessing the fit for your child
- First we ask that any parents considering applying for a bursary, book onto an open day and send through a recent school report to begin the admissions process and to ensure we can meet the needs of your child.
Following your open day visit, we will send a bursary application form to you for completion.
Bursary committee meet and award bursaries
- Once you have been along to the open day and completed the application process, the bursary committee meet to discuss applications for the academic year.
Bursaries are awarded in or before April 2026.
