Passionate About Outdoor Learning and Children’s Wellbeing.
Pooja is delighted to be joining Liberty Woodland School. Her passion for Forest School began while working in an inner-city school, where she saw firsthand how little access children had to nature. Reflecting on her own childhood growing up in London, this experience inspired her to ensure children have greater opportunities to connect with the natural world.
Since then, Pooja has introduced and coordinated Outdoor Learning sessions at Rutherford House School, Pembridge Hall School, and Eaton House Belgravia, helping children build confidence, creativity, and wellbeing. A strong advocate for children’s emotional health, she is also a qualified ELSA and has delivered emotional literacy sessions to further support young people’s wellbeing.
Outside the classroom, Pooja enjoys solo travelling, volunteering, and creating illustrations through collage. This summer, she will be travelling to Kenya to join a Forest School in Nairobi for a short time. She is excited to bring her experiences and learning back to Liberty Woodland School and to share her passion for outdoor education with the community.
