James is the music teacher across both Primary and Secondary.
James is a passionate and dynamic music educator with over 20 years of experience working with young people, including extensive teaching within primary & secondary schools. He is known for delivering fun, active and exhilarating music lessons where students are encouraged to explore, express and achieve their full potential.
A multi-talented musician, James specialises in ensemble-style tuition and teaches a wide range of instruments including djembes, ukulele, guitar, recorders and keyboards. James brings creativity, structure and enthusiasm to every learning environment. He has also been a Head of Music in several schools and is experienced in teaching music up to KS5.
Alongside his teaching career, James is also a producer and composer. He also takes on the role as Music Director in his local church alongside other fellow musicians in the music band. When not in the music room or studio, he enjoys swimming, woodwork, spending quality family time and discovering great food within diverse restaurants, bringing joy and energy into all aspects of his life.
