Expect more from education

What if school could offer children more?

More opportunities to discover what they're capable of. More meaningful learning, more confidence and more joy in growing up.

At Liberty Woodland School, we believe an ambitious education and a happy childhood should go hand in hand. We've created a school where children are deeply known, challenged to think for themselves and encouraged to develop a genuine love of learning.

A better way of growing up

Our approach brings together strong academic teaching, purposeful real-world projects, time outdoors and close relationships between students and teachers.

Children learn to question, investigate, collaborate and apply their knowledge. They develop independence, resilience and the confidence to take on challenges, while enjoying the friendships, play and experiences that make childhood special.

Academic ambition, from the earliest years to Sixth Form

Academic achievement matters at Liberty. We want every student to develop strong knowledge, achieve highly and have the opportunities and qualifications to pursue whatever comes next.

In Primary

Structured teaching in reading, writing and mathematics provides strong foundations, complemented by a rich curriculum of inquiry and real-world projects. Teachers carefully assess progress and provide appropriate support and challenge.

In Secondary

Students follow the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), developing subject knowledge, critical thinking, research skills and independence through academically challenging learning and assessment.

In Sixth Form

Opening September 2027, students will be able to study the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP), combining academic depth and breadth with independent research, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity, Service.
