Project BaSed Learning
Projects are presented in different ways. We ask students to answer big questions, to plan and deliver community events, complete challenges or find solutions to problems.
Project based learning is at the heart of our creative curriculum. Project based learning blends content mastery, meaningful work, and personal connection to create powerful learning experiences, in terms of both academic achievement and students personal growth.
A design principal of our school is that learning should be purposeful, with meaningful learning goals and outcomes. Our cross curricular projects are diverse and designed to inspire our children to grapple with demanding and meaningful topics, to produce high-quality work and, through their projects, master both academic knowledge and skills and develop their learning habits and character attributes.
Each class for their project creates a google site which is then updated by the class weekly to provide parents and our authentic audiences with an opportunity to follow real-time progress within the project.
